SOFTWARE:
Introducing the DLU32 Elevator Traffic Measurement & Analysis System.
As a Traffic Analysis system, the Data Logger is connected to the landing call indicators (and optionally the out of service signals) for a lift group. The Logger is then set up to log these signals for typically 1 week. This produces 7 logged data files on the Laptop which are taken back to the office for repeated analysis producing reports and/or data files for a spreadsheet or a word processor.
As a Diagnostic Tool, the Data Logger can connected to several lift controller signals and set up to log for whatever period is required, usually long enough to "catch" the fault being chased. This also produces logged data files (1 for each day) which can be analyzed either on the laptop or back in the office. This miscellaneous signal analysis allows the operator to define up to 19 Named Functions made up of from an arbitrary combination of actual data logger inputs ORed, ANDed and XORed together. These Named Functions are then reported on along with a timing diagram for each. This allows complex signal patterns to be searched for. Once the fault is "caught", further analysis can provide mode detailed information about what happened just before and after the fault. An analysis based on a user defined state-machine can also be performed to detect invalid signal sequences.
Of course, a logging for both Traffic Analysis and Diagnostics can be done simultaneously as the DLU32 stores all input changes to 1/10 second resolution to disk.
