This
collection represents the fiddle tunes that I’ve written over some ten years,
or at least the ones that I think are worthy of your attention.
As
I always write on fiddle or viola, and rarely set down the chord progressions in
detail, I have been incredibly lucky to have a collaborator who has done that
for me, thereby enhancing all my original ideas.
The progressions you’ll see here are chosen by my husband and musical
partner, Neil Adam, who has been the best possible source of encouragement and
inspiration over the years.
I find a tune is often inspired by or reminds me strongly of someone, and I’ve given a little of this story behind the tune beside each of the manuscripts that follow. Some of them were dedications, after the event.
