Pit Fighting
Think you’re good at bare knuckled
brawling? Then come test your mettle against these sector
champions. Part of the Sector Champion Federation is now holding
open challenges on its champions.
If you are familiar with the rules and challengers of Pit
Fighting (if not rules and information can be found on the
website) simply link your role-play to this post with
information regarding whom you will be fighting, your Melee XP
and how much you will be betting.
After this please wait one week which will allow enough time for
other players to place their bets on the fight and enjoy the
show!
1. Melee
combat only with fists no weapons.
2. No armor is allowed.
3. Winner is the one left standing or yields.
4. You lose if you get near death wounds. To forfeit a match,
state before the fight is generated that you wish to quit when
you receive severe wounds.
5. There is an entrance fee to battle them. If you win you win
the prize money. If you lose you lose all your money.
6. If you win your are not crowned the champion, but have the
prestige and respect from defeating a champion.
7. Only ONE challenger may challenge each champion per week.
Whoever gets it first gets first dibs for that week.
8. You cannot challenge a champion that you have already
defeated.
9. Max bets capped at 10,000 credits. Minimum bet is 100
credits.
10. If you challenge a champion and lose then the next time you
fight him the entrance fee is increased by 1000 credits.

The lightweight champion is a practitioner of the well known
K'thri martial art. It's showy flashy and very fluid. A great
crowed pleaser.

The hardcore sector champion use to be an Imperial special
forces commando. His silent and effective martial art style
exemplifies the quick and stealthy way of death utilized in the
Empire's service. Now he uses it to make even more money and to
please the blood thirsy spectators.

The cruiser weight sector champion looks like a mini barabel.
Nobody knows or cares or even dares to ask him what he is. His
claws and powerful upper body strikes of his martial art is
brutal yet effective on opponents.

The heavy weight champion is an enslaved Wookie ordered to fight
in the arenas. Watch out for this Wookie's arms as he is known
to easily tear them out of your sockets and beat you to death
with your own arms. Known fighting style is some Wookie martial
art which is unpronounceable.

The inter-sector reigning champ is an enigmatic humanoid. Bulky
reveals that he is powerful. His fists are known to not only
break bones but also pound through duracrete walls as if he was
hitting bread. If you haven't guessed it then this champion is a
master in Teras Kasi. His fists are like iron and challengers
best avoid his strikes period.

The Guardsman
Current reigning champion of the SCF is known as the Guardman.
His style is efficient, brutal, quick, and deadly. This human is
rumored to be a former Royal Guard and a master in the Echani
martial art.
He is only available to fight if the challenger has beaten the
five previous sector champions.
