It is a significant recoding from version 1.6. Upgrade from the previous version can be done using an upgrade script. Changes include: Guest user account. The administrator can enable a guest user account. This allows to access a page without having to login into the intranet. Previous versions of Brushtail had a mixture of dynamic and static modules. Brushtail 2.0 is now completely composed of dynamic modules that can be created or deleted in any combination. Documents and images are now stored on the web server filesystem, not in the MySQL database. User management is much improved.
