YESTERDAY'S GONE.
TODAY IS HERE.
Our past conflicts are of the past
and should never be moved
As the past should only be remembered when
we learn for the future
Pointless is it for us to never learn as
learning is our lives
But, conflicting the past with the present
is just pure stupidity.
The exercise of genocide is a concept
we haven’t heard in a while We’re led to believe for
fifty tormentable years we lived with peace
Lies hammered into our heads consistently
by governments and schools
As the act of genocide has been with us
for many years now.
There’s a love for ones country, fighting
in bloody holy wars As the love for god and
country, keeps the venom flowing ever more
Generation to generation, filling blood
holy thoughts in our minds
For what crazy reason do we carry thoughts
of hatred and revenge?
Living in this apathetic world, mixed
like a beef hearty stew Every country different
and every countries quest the same as others
Abusing their own to show domination and
the power sought
As they try to push and shove to gain political
ingenuity.
Six hundred years lived, and now the
future of today is to be lived A different time, a different
race taking place on the same dirt
Political fights fought, with the surrender
leading to ultimate death
So, flog the people and watch their blood
fill dry stream beds.
Neighbours live in fear as they are
forced to save their hides No choice, except the
forceful hand played with the card of death
One major power; god to all and the world’s
governing police
Launch mass destructive power on the land
and the people of life.
Bombs fall from heights with whistles
through the dark skies Fear runs through the
blood, creating panic; the start of death
As the bombs stray, targets named now hidden
from our very eyes
With blinding flashes contributing to the
aid of genocide.
What makes us tick with motives of torture
and that of murder? Blood rushing to the head
as boiling pressure rises so damn fast!
Decisions being made for power domination
and not for the best
As targets remain and numbers of the innocent
dead rapidly increase.
Why do we kill? Do we kill for the sight
and glory of the blood? Let’s stop these bloody
useless wars, that are just a bloody massacre
Stand up and make the count. Shout
aloud: “
So, let’s make love for peace;
what more can we express?
